Fortunately for the title it was quicker. The writer Ivan Jablonka suggested the Residence the first time he came to the house to discuss his participation in the book. And it was a no-brainer.
The Residence is threefold: it’s the place where the story takes place, it’s an artistic residency that I’ve allocated to myself during the confinement period and, lastly, there were a lot of us under ‘house arrest’ from March to May 2020.
